  • With pneumatic duct transportation there is usually major wear at the directional change of the material flow. As a result of this, the bends are quickly worn, even though wear-resistant material is used.
  • The RB-pipe bendings are built to withstand wear and practical tests show a five times as long lifetime with highly abrasive materials.
  • The RB-pipe bendings are available in two different designs, one welded and one moulded rubber bends with metal flanges.
  • RB-pipe bendings have the following advantages:
    • Very durable
    • Fewer replacements
    • Space saving
    • Easier piping
    • Easy to replace
    • Standard flanges
    • Small pressure loss
    • Low inlet pressure
    • Reasonable price
    • Available for all normal pipe dimensions
  • RB-pipe bendings are a Danish product.

Pneumatic Transport

  • There are often problems with getting cement, chalk and similar powder materials out of silos. This is due to clumping and bridges  due to insufficient air content in the material.
  • These problems can be remedied by aeration (fluidization) of the material, which thereby becomes “fluid” and can be drained from the silo in an even flow path.
  • The B1-aeration insert is a modular aeration kit for mounting in the outlet cone of a steel silo. Can also be incorporated into existing silos.
  • Quantity and size depends on the silo’s dimensions and content.
  • The B1 aeration is delivered complete with frame, gasket and bolts, ready for installation.

Pressure Relief Valves for silos

  • The safety valve is the final safety net when abnormal pressure conditions threaten the silo construction. That is why sudden positive or negative pressure in the silo must be treated immediately. Although it would be ideal that the safety valve is never activated, it needs to be effective and reliable if by chance it was needed. With more than 60,000 units installed worldwide, this safety valve has proven to be fully operational under many different conditions.
  • Silos, in which material from lorries or internal transmission stations are injected, must be secured against impermissible pressure (requirement from the WEA, the Danish Working Environment Authority)
  • Installing a pressure relief valve also protects the silo filter if, due to a clogged filter, excessive pressure occurs in the silo.
  • The silo pressure relief valve is intended for mounting on the silo top and only allows release of air when the set pressure has been exceeded.
  • The pressure relief valve is a simple and sturdy construction and demands virtually no maintenance. The valve is meant to be mounted on a flange.
