Lock Valve
- The SSP valve has a single or multi-plated valve plate.
- The valve is primarily used for sealing off purposes at larger duct cross sections, where the valve plate, in an open position, creates a duct wall, so that a full aperture area is obtained.
- The valve housing consists of the following main components:
- Valve house with shaft suspension.
- Double-walled valve plates.
- Valve shafts
- Shaft sealings
- Bearing units
- Drive console
- Drive unit
- The SSP valve is designed for flange assembly or for welding in duct sections. The solid and powerful construction ensures flawless operation and longevity.
- The ones with several valve plates are interconnected with an arm- /bar system and is activated by the drive unit.
- Often the valve is equipped with an air throttling system, thus ensuring a gas tight solution.
- Material: regular steel, Corten steel, heat resistant as well as stainless and acid-resistant steel.
- Operation: Delivered with either manual operation, pneumatic or electric drive unit, box with limit switches or positions with a 4-20 mA feedback signal for regulation purposes.
