LOUVRE DAMPER
- The LDSR damper is a multi-blade damper for circular ducts.
- It is primarily used for regulation purposes, but can be used for sealing off as well.
- The LDSR damper is designed for flange mounting or for welding into a duct section. The solid and powerful construction ensures reliable operation and long service life plus the option of dismantling in case of maintenance or inspection.
- The damper blades are made of solid sheets or as “wing profiles” with smooth outer surfaces giving minimal flow resistance and high strength.
- The individual damper blades are interconnected with ball joints and a rod system.
- The LDSR damper can be made with an air barrier, so that a 100% tightness can be achieved.
- The damper blades are counter-rotating, which together with the completely smooth surfaces give an evenly distributed flow in the duct cross-section with a minimum of turbulence.
- The damper ican also be supplied with parallel-turning damper blades.
- The damper blade shafts are suspended in heat resistant spherical special bearings and are supplied with separate shaft seals by the frame penetrations.
- The LDSR damper can be supplied with different types of seals between the damper baldes and the frame.
- Material: regular steel, Corten steel, heat resistant as well as stainless and acid-resistant steel.
- Operation: Can be delivered with either manual operation, pneumatic or electric drive, box with limit switches or positions with a 4-20 mA feedback signal for regulation purposes.
